A wee bit about Jenna...

Jenna Sammartino is a wordsmith, yoga teacher, and garden nurturer who has called Cape Cod home for over 20 years. Her love of language is apparent in her yoga classes: clear, inspiring communication is a hallmark of her teachings. Likewise, she feels that the creativity, precision, and attentiveness cultivated through her yoga practice make her better writer. Learn more about Jenna’s yoga teaching here.

Jenna spent nearly two decades working for the National Park Service as an interpretive park ranger at Cape Cod National Seashore, sharing her love and knowledge of the Cape’s nature and history and making excellent use of her writing and communication skills. She also works alongside her husband, Chris Sammartino, running their sailboat charter business, Cape Sailing Charters.

Jenna’s parents raised her on the Beatles and Colorado sunshine (a very good combo, as it turns out). She tries to remember to say “thank you” every day for the vast jumble of blessings that make up her life. It's quite a tapestry for a girl who has the mountains in her blood and the ocean in her soul. The common thread is a reverence for Nature. And the weaving continues...
